Privacy Policy

Time There: World Clock is designed for local, accountless use. This policy separates information handled by the app from information you submit through this website.

Effective 13 August 2026

Scope

This policy covers the Time There: World Clock iPhone and Apple Watch apps and the Time There: World Clock pages at nanohits.com. Time There: World Clock is operated by Moxitek Pty Ltd in Australia.

Information stored by the app

Time There: World Clock stores the information you create on your device. This may include labels for people, teams, places, or purposes; time-zone identifiers; home-zone preferences; usual-hour schedules; reminders; appearance settings; and widget or complication configuration.

The app does not require an account. It does not upload your contacts. It does not infer whether another person is awake, present, or willing to be contacted.

Data transfer and portability

Time There: World Clock can transfer a bounded local snapshot from your iPhone to your paired Apple Watch so the Watch app and its surfaces can operate. You can also choose to export a versioned local document and later import it. These actions are initiated through Apple platform features and do not require a proprietary Time There: World Clock account or backend.

Permissions

Time There: World Clock asks for access only when you choose a related feature:

  • Notification permission is used to schedule the local reminders you configure.
  • Calendar access is requested when you choose to create an event after reviewing its details.
  • Location access, if offered, is optional; manual home-zone and saved-zone setup remains available.

You can change permissions in system Settings. Denying an optional permission does not prevent core world-time use.

Purchases

The optional Lifetime purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. Moxitek does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple may provide purchase status, transaction identifiers, storefront information, and refund or revocation status needed to unlock and restore purchased features.

Advertising and analytics

Time There: World Clock contains no advertising SDK and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. The launch version does not send authored labels, schedules, calendar details, or exact locations to a product analytics service.

Apple may provide diagnostics or aggregate App Store information under your Apple privacy and analytics settings.

Website contact form

When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, enquiry type, and message you provide. Do not submit passwords, payment details, sensitive health information, or information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Our server may record limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as an IP address, request time, requested path, browser information, and response status.

Website service providers

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process browser, device, network, and interaction signals under its own privacy policy. Contact messages are delivered through our email service provider. These providers may process information outside Australia and may use it only to provide and secure their services.

How we use contact information

We use contact information to respond to enquiries, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain service reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information and do not use contact submissions for unrelated advertising.

Retention and security

Authored app data remains on your device until you change, export, import, or delete it, subject to device backups and Apple platform behavior. We retain website enquiries and related correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support records, resolve disputes, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.

We use encrypted transport, access controls, anti-abuse verification, request limits, and restricted server credentials. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Access, correction, and deletion

You control authored app data through the app’s edit, export, import, and deletion features and through system controls. For personal information submitted through the website, you may ask to access, correct, or delete it. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, website, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes affecting app data handling will also be reflected in relevant App Store disclosures.

Privacy enquiries

For a privacy question or complaint, use the contact form on the Time There: World Clock home page and choose “General enquiry.”
