This policy explains how RSS Edition, operated by Moxitek Pty Ltd., handles information in the RSS Edition iOS and iPadOS app and on this website.

The short version

• RSS Edition has no advertising, behavioural analytics or cross-app tracking.
• Your feed subscriptions and article data are stored on your device. When iCloud is available, subscription organisation and article-opening preferences can sync through your private iCloud account.
• We receive contact details only when you choose to send us a support or privacy message.
• You can use the app locally if iCloud is unavailable.

Information handled by the app

To provide feed-reading functionality, RSS Edition processes feed URLs, article text and images, folders, saved items, read state and preferences. This content is stored locally on your device. Moxitek does not operate a server that receives or stores this app data, and it is not used for tracking.

RSS Edition fetches the feeds and web pages you ask it to open. Those publishers and hosting providers receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and user agent under their own privacy policies.

iCloud sync

If iCloud is available, RSS Edition uses Apple CloudKit to sync subscriptions, folders, feed order, muted state and article-opening preferences in your private iCloud database. Moxitek Pty Ltd. does not operate an account system for RSS Edition and does not receive your iCloud credentials. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and your iCloud settings.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive transaction status needed to unlock the app, not your full payment-card details.

Diagnostics

RSS Edition does not include third-party advertising or behavioural analytics SDKs. If you choose to share an Apple crash or diagnostic report, Apple may provide technical information needed to diagnose reliability problems under your device analytics settings. Do not include article content, feed credentials or personal messages in voluntary diagnostics.

Website and contact messages

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, reply email, subject and message you submit. We use this information only to answer your request, handle support, or satisfy a privacy request. Our mail provider and hosting provider process it on our behalf. We retain correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for the request, legal obligations and abuse prevention.

Anti-abuse processing

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process limited device and network signals for this purpose under its privacy policy. RSS Edition does not use Turnstile for advertising or cross-site profiling.

Children

RSS Edition is a general-audience feed reader and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

Your choices and requests

You can remove local app data by deleting feeds, clearing stored content or deleting the app. You can manage RSS Edition’s iCloud data through Apple’s iCloud settings. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests concerning information held by Moxitek Pty Ltd., use the protected contact form. We may need to verify that a request relates to you.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information handled. Hosting, email, Apple and Cloudflare services may process information outside your country, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards. No internet transmission is completely risk-free.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app, website or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate app or website notice.
