Summary

Rested is a free recovery app from NanoHits. It uses information you choose to make available through Apple Health to calculate recovery, sleep, activity, trend, and insight features on your iPhone and Apple Watch. NanoHits does not receive or operate a server-side profile of your health history.

Information used by the app

With your permission, Rested may read compatible Apple Health records including sleep stages and duration, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, wrist-temperature deviation, workouts, active energy, exercise minutes, steps, VO₂ max, heart-rate recovery, walking heart rate, and mindful sessions.

You control Apple Health permissions and can change them in iOS Settings or the Health app. Rested does not write health records to Apple Health.

On-device processing and storage

Recovery scores, baselines, trends, insights, tags, experiments, and related health analysis are calculated and stored on your devices using Apple platform storage. They may be shared between Rested’s iPhone app, widgets, and Apple Watch companion through Apple-provided device and App Group mechanisms.

NanoHits does not use advertising SDKs, external analytics SDKs, or a cloud health database for Rested.

Website and support information

You can browse this website without creating an account. If you voluntarily use the support or beta-access form, NanoHits receives the name, reply email address, selected topic, and message you provide. This information is used only to respond to your request and administer the beta program.

Support messages are delivered by email through NanoHits’ mail provider. They are retained in the relevant mailboxes only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of a support conversation by contacting us.

Cloudflare Turnstile

The support form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. When the form loads or is submitted, Cloudflare may process technical information necessary to provide the security check, such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, and challenge results. NanoHits validates each Turnstile token on the server before accepting a message.

Cloudflare acts under its own privacy policy. Rested’s iPhone and Apple Watch apps do not use Turnstile.

Server logs and security

The website server records limited request logs needed for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. Authorization and cookie headers are removed from NanoHits’ Caddy access log configuration. Support-form submissions are rate limited and validated. NanoHits does not sell personal information.

Children

Rested is not directed to children under 13. NanoHits does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.

Your choices and contact

You can stop Rested’s access to Apple Health data at any time, remove locally stored app data by deleting the app, or contact NanoHits about website support information through the privacy contact form.

This policy may be updated as Rested or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
