Agreement

By using the Petstead website or app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Petstead.

A record, not professional advice

Petstead records owner-entered plans and factual care events. It is not a veterinary service, diagnostic tool, treatment adviser, medication interaction checker, dosage calculator, emergency service, or substitute for professional advice. Petstead does not verify that an entered care plan is safe, complete, current, or appropriate for a particular animal.

You remain responsible for care decisions, checking instructions, maintaining accurate information, and contacting a qualified veterinarian or emergency service when appropriate.

Your data and devices

Petstead does not require a Petstead account. You are responsible for access to your device and Apple Account, for the information you enter, and for the people and information you choose to include in Household sharing or handover exports. Do not use Petstead to share information you do not have the right to disclose.

Availability and synchronization

Local, iCloud, notification, alarm, sharing, export, and purchase features depend on compatible Apple devices, operating-system permissions, network access, Apple services, and other providers. Synchronization or delivery can be delayed or unavailable. Check the app’s displayed freshness and status rather than assuming another device has received a change.

Purchases and subscriptions

Paid features are offered through Apple’s App Store. Prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, renewal dates, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and payment processing are governed by the terms shown by Apple at purchase and by applicable law. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account. Ending a paid plan does not make existing Petstead records unreadable, although creating or expanding paid-only features may be limited.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, contact form, app, or related services; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with service operation; submit unlawful or abusive material; impersonate another person; or use automated means to evade security and request limits.

Ownership

Petstead, its design, software, branding, and website content are owned by Moxitek Pty Ltd or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. Your rights to use the app are also subject to the applicable App Store licence terms.

Feedback

If you send product feedback, you allow Moxitek to use it to improve Petstead without payment or obligation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

Consumer rights and warranties

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies. Subject to those rights, Petstead is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moxitek Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use Petstead, reliance on owner-entered information, delayed synchronization or notifications, or information shared with another person or service. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes

We may update Petstead or these terms as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current terms. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate product or website notice.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by applicable Australian law, without limiting any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live.
