Privacy policy

Effective 30 July 2026

Daypost is a private travel-memory app and website operated by Moxitek Pty Ltd. This policy explains what the Daypost app and this website handle.

Daypost app

The Daypost app is designed to keep its core library and generated assets in app-controlled local storage on your device. The app does not require an account and does not create a public profile or social graph.

The app may access photos, microphone, speech recognition, broad photo-derived places, WeatherKit, notifications, and the photo library only when you use a related feature or grant permission. You can review or edit suggested photos, places, weather, text, and exports.

Daypost does not send your photos, places, routes, transcripts, voice recordings, captions, or written memories to advertising systems or third-party cloud AI for its core behavior. Daypost does not publish a Daypost automatically.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store and TestFlight distribution information and any StoreKit purchase transactions under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Daypost receives the entitlement information needed to unlock purchased features, not your full payment-card details.

Website contact form

If you use the contact form, the website processes the name, reply address, topic, and message you provide so Moxitek Pty Ltd can read and respond to your request. The form sends this information by email to the site administrator. Do not include travel photos, precise locations, voice recordings, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

Contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain business records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Cloudflare Turnstile

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical information required to provide the challenge and verification service, including network and device signals. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Server logs and security

The website host and reverse proxy may temporarily process standard request information such as IP address, requested path, timestamp, and browser headers to deliver the site, apply rate limits, investigate faults, and protect the service. The contact service is designed not to place submitted message contents or Turnstile tokens in application logs.

Cookies and analytics

The Daypost landing page does not set marketing cookies and does not include advertising analytics. Cloudflare Turnstile may use browser storage or similar technical mechanisms needed to provide its security service.

Disclosure

Moxitek Pty Ltd may use service providers that operate the website, verify Turnstile challenges, deliver email, or distribute the app. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or Moxitek Pty Ltd.

Your choices

You can choose not to use the contact form. In the app, you can deny optional permissions, delete an individual Daypost, delete a trip, or delete all local Daypost data through the available controls.

Children

Daypost is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child’s personal information through the website contact form.

Changes

This policy may change as Daypost develops. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent through the Daypost contact form. The site does not publish a contact email address.
